Frequently asked questions
How working together goes, what the demos are, and how this site uses AI.
Working together
What does Web Envisions build?
Who will I work with?
You work directly with Zack Lekas, the founder, based in Bend, Oregon. The person you explain your business to is the person who designs and builds it.
Can you work on the website I already have?
Yes. I fix broken or slow sites, connect booking, payment, and other tools, and make back-end changes your platform can’t do on its own. A rebuild is only suggested when it’s really the better option.
Do I need a budget or a timeline to get in touch?
No. A rough idea is enough to start. I reply by email, usually with a few questions, and we pick one customer journey to prototype first.
Are the businesses in the examples and demos real?
No. Ridgeline Builders, the example bike shop, the repair shop, and the example websites use fictional businesses, products, and prices. Requests made in the demos are prepared on the page and never sent anywhere.
AI on this site
Does this site use AI?
Yes. The “describe it in your own words” boxes on the home page and in the demos, and the project assistant on the contact page, use Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. In the boxes, it suggests choices that you can apply or dismiss. Nothing changes until you choose.
Am I talking with a person or an AI in the project assistant?
The project assistant on the contact page is an AI. It asks a few questions and writes a summary you can edit. A person, me, only reads your message after you send the contact form.
What happens to what I type into these features?
The text you type into those features is sent to Anthropic so Claude can respond. Your name, email, and the rest of the contact form are never sent to Anthropic. This site keeps only short log lines with counts and timing, never your text. Anthropic processes the text under its commercial terms and may keep it for a limited time under its own policies, so please don’t enter passwords or other sensitive information.
Does AI decide prices, availability, or bookings?
No. Prices, fit, stock, safety guidance, and confirmations come from each business’s own rules and people. AI only reads what a customer typed and suggests choices they can see and change.
What if the AI is unavailable?
Every feature keeps working. The demos fall back to simple keyword rules that run in your browser, and all buttons, browsing, and the contact form work without AI.
Can you build AI features like these for my business?
Yes. Every example here can be adapted to your products, services, and rules, with AI used only where it saves your customers effort.
