Own a shop, café, trade, studio or nonprofit in Central Oregon? As a thank-you to the community that’s welcomed Web Envisions this fall, I’m building one local business a free website, normally $2,500 to $4,000.

The prize
A Launch website
Normally $2,500 to $4,000, yours free
- Up to 5 pages
- Custom design, built for phones first
- A contact form that emails you
- Basic search setup: page titles, descriptions, and Google Search Console
- Help shaping the words on each page
- One round of changes after the first draft
- Launch, plus 30 days of fixes for anything broken
- Hosting for the first year
What the prize doesn’t include
- Your domain name, and hosting after the first year
- Extra pages, a blog, or an online store
- Logo or brand design
- Booking, payments, or other integrations
- Professional photography
- A monthly care plan (offered at a discount)
Everyone who takes part
Gets something, even if they don’t win
- A free video review of your website or online presence, with what I’d change first, sent by January 15
- 15% off a new website signed by January 31
For businesses that confirm they’d like to take part. Open to businesses and nonprofits in Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Sunriver, La Pine and the rest of Deschutes County.

- Can I enter my own business?
- Yes, and I hope you will. Owners can enter themselves, and anyone can nominate a business they love. If you’re not the owner, I’ll contact the business to make sure they’d like to take part.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. The website is built at no cost and hosting is included for the first year. The winner pays only for their own domain name, and owns the finished site.
- How is the winner chosen?
- I read every confirmed entry and choose on four things: how much a new site would help, what the business means to the people around it, whether the owner can work with me through January, and fit with the Launch package. The rules have the details.
- Does sharing or entering more than once help?
- No. Several entries for one business don’t raise its chances, and sharing never counts as an entry. I judge on the story, not the count.
- Do I have to leave a review if we win?
- No. I’ll invite honest feedback once the site is live, but a review is never a condition of winning.
