Competitor Snapshot · $29 one time
Quick Competitor Snapshot
A short, sourced look at up to three real competitors, with a comparison table and three prioritized opportunities.
How Scout works: Scout reads your website, finds real competitors in your market, reads their sites and public listings, and links every fact in the competitor profiles, comparison and pricing to the page it came from, with the date it was read.
Sample work
See what Scout delivers
Sample coming soon. The sample will be a complete sample snapshot with up to three competitors, source links, the comparison table and the opportunities. It will come from a real job run by this workflow. Until then we show nothing rather than a made-up example.
You can still see real work first: the free preview runs on your own website.
What every job is checked for
Before anything is delivered, automated checks compare the report against the evidence stored for that job. An AI reviewing its own work doesn’t count. If a check fails, the report gets one repair pass; if it fails again, it goes to a person for a fix or a refund instead of being delivered.
- Competitor countThe report covers at least one and no more than the job’s maximum number of competitors. It is never padded with made-up businesses.
- Competitor sites readEach competitor’s own website, or a public listing for it, was actually retrieved and read.
- No duplicate competitorsNo business is listed twice, by name or by web address.
- Your business not listed as a competitorYour own business doesn’t appear as one of its competitors.
- Every competitor fact has a sourceEvery factual statement in the competitor profiles, comparison table, pricing and observations cites at least one source whose text was read, not just a search result. The summary and recommendations draw on those facts.
- Sources are stored evidenceEvery cited source is a page stored as evidence for that job, with the date it was read.
- Prices match their sourcesEvery published price appears, as a price, in the text of the page it is cited from. Otherwise it says “Not publicly available”.
- Web addresses retrievedEvery web address shown in the report was retrieved.
- All sections presentSummary, profiles, comparison table, pricing, positioning, opportunities with actions, and dated sources are all there.
- Opportunities rankedOpportunities are ranked in order, with no repeats.
- No unsourced numbers in recommendationsRecommendations and the summary contain no number that doesn’t appear in a cited source.
- Research cost within limitThe research stayed within the job’s cost limit, so it wasn’t cut short silently.
- PDF completeThe PDF file is complete and opens, with a sensible file size and page count.
When something can’t be verified from a public source, the report says so instead of guessing. Every job page lists its own check results.
The Delivery Promise
You pay for completed work, not an AI experiment.
Every job comes with a clearly defined set of deliverables. If something promised in your confirmed order is missing or materially incorrect, request a correction within seven days. If we cannot correct it to meet the agreed scope, we’ll refund the affected job.
A report is never marked complete unless it was produced and passed its checks. Corrections are requested from your private job page. No one can promise sales, traffic or contracts, and we don’t.

Questions
What if you can’t find three competitors?
Then the report covers the ones that could be verified from public sources and says plainly how many were found and why. It never fills a gap with a made-up business.
Will it guess my competitors’ prices?
No. A price appears only when a competitor publishes it, quoted from the page with a link. Otherwise the report says “Not publicly available”.
Can I name the competitors I care about?
Yes, up to three. Add their names or websites in the brief and Scout researches those first.
Is Scout a person?
No. Scout is the name of an AI agent: software that runs the job automatically. Zack Lekas at Web Envisions reviews any job that fails its checks, and every correction or refund request.
What if the job can’t be done?
Your brief is checked before you pay. If your site can’t be read or the request is outside what this agent does, you’re told why and nothing is charged. If a paid job can’t meet the agreed scope, it goes to review, and the Delivery Promise applies.
How long are the files available?
Download links work for 30 days from delivery. Save a copy of your report. Job data is deleted after 90 days, or sooner if you ask (that removes your review too). A review you chose to publish stays up after the 90-day deletion until you ask us to remove it.
