What every job is checked for

Before anything is delivered, automated checks compare the report against the evidence stored for that job. An AI reviewing its own work doesn’t count. If a check fails, the report gets one repair pass; if it fails again, it goes to a person for a fix or a refund instead of being delivered.

Results shown are the stored results from the job behind Scout’s Competitor Analyst sample, as they ran.

  • Competitor countThe report covers at least one and no more than the job’s maximum number of competitors. It is never padded with made-up businesses.Passed in the job behind Scout’s Competitor Analyst sample: 5 competitors researched.
  • Competitor sites readEach competitor’s own website, or a public listing for it, was actually retrieved and read.Passed in the job behind Scout’s Competitor Analyst sample: Every competitor’s own website or a listing for it was read.

  • Your business not listed as a competitorYour own business doesn’t appear as one of its competitors.Passed in the job behind Scout’s Competitor Analyst sample: Your own business is not listed as a competitor.
  • Every competitor fact has a sourceEvery factual statement in the competitor profiles, comparison table, pricing and observations cites at least one source whose text was read, not just a search result. The summary and recommendations draw on those facts.Passed in the job behind Scout’s Competitor Analyst sample: All 112 factual statements in the profiles, comparison and observations cite at least one source.
  • Sources are stored evidenceEvery cited source is a page stored as evidence for that job, with the date it was read.Passed in the job behind Scout’s Competitor Analyst sample: All 39 cited sources are stored evidence for this job.
  • Prices match their sourcesEvery published price appears, as a price, in the text of the page it is cited from. Otherwise it says “Not publicly available”.Passed in the job behind Scout’s Competitor Analyst sample: All 4 published prices match the text of their sources.

When something can’t be verified from a public source, the report says so instead of guessing. Every job page lists its own check results.

Why not just use ChatGPT?

A chat assistant can be a good place to start. A job here is a finished piece of work, and it includes things a chat answer doesn’t:

  • Live research across your marketThe agent searches and reads current public pages for your city or region while the job runs.
  • Competitors’ own sites, read page by pageIt opens each competitor’s website and public listings, and keeps the passages it relies on.
  • Every fact linked to its sourceEach fact in the competitor profiles, comparison and pricing points to the page it came from, with the date that page was read.
  • Facts kept apart from adviceObservations from sources and the agent’s recommendations are labelled separately in the report.
  • Automated checks before deliverySources, prices, duplicates and sections are checked against the stored evidence before you see anything.
  • A finished PDFA laid-out report to download, print and share, not a conversation to copy from.
  • A correction and refund promiseIf something promised is missing or materially incorrect, it’s corrected, or the affected job is refunded.

You don’t write prompts, check citations by hand or format the document. You review the finished report and decide what to do with it.

Delivery Promise

You pay for completed work, not an AI experiment.

Every job comes with a clearly defined set of deliverables. If something promised in your confirmed order is missing or materially incorrect, request a correction within seven days. If we cannot correct it to meet the agreed scope, we’ll refund the affected job.

Your brief is checked before you pay, and a job is never marked complete unless its files were produced and passed their checks. No one can promise sales, traffic or contracts, and we don’t.

How it works

  1. 1Pick an agent and describe the job

A short brief: your website, your market and what you want to know. No logins or passwords.

  2. 2We check it before you pay

Your brief is checked first. If the job can’t be done as asked, you’re told why and nothing is charged.

  3. 3Pay once, securely

Checkout is by Stripe. Work starts when Stripe confirms the payment.

  4. 4The agent does the work

It reads public sources, writes the deliverables, and runs automated quality checks before anything is delivered.

  5. 5Download your files

Your private job page shows each real step as it happens, then your files with a download button.

Who’s behind Web Envisions

Web Envisions is the business name of Sential Systems LLC, in Bend, Oregon. It’s owned and run by Zack Lekas, who builds and looks after the agents. A real person answers every question, correction and refund request.

Support: zack@webenvisions.com, or use the contact page.

If something is wrong: corrections and refunds

  1. Open your private job page (the link in your order email) within seven days of delivery, choose “A correction to my report” and say what is missing or incorrect.
  2. The job shows “Correction Requested”, and Zack Lekas checks it against your confirmed order.
  3. If it can be corrected to meet the agreed scope, the report is fixed or re-run and the corrected file appears on the same job page.
  4. If it can’t, the affected job is refunded through Stripe to the card you paid with.

A job that fails its own checks is never delivered: it goes to review for a fix or a refund. For anything else, use “Report a problem” on the job page or email us.

How your data is handled

  • What we store: your brief (website, business name, industry, market, any competitors you name, your goal and email), the public pages and search results read for your job, its check results, and your finished files. Free previews keep the address you entered and their public findings for 30 days.
  • AI processing: your brief and the public pages read are sent to Anthropic, whose Claude models search the web, read the pages and write the deliverables. The agents never need your passwords.
  • Business lookup: your business name and website address are sent to Google Places to find your listing and nearby businesses of the same type, which can appear in the report as Google listings.
  • Payment: Stripe processes the payment; we never see or store your card details.
  • Email: order and delivery emails are sent through Resend.
  • Retention: download links work for 30 days, and job data is deleted after 90 days. You can ask for deletion sooner from your job page, and we’ll delete it on request, your review included. The one exception to the 90-day deletion is a review you chose to publish: it stays up, without your private job link, until you ask us to remove it.

AI can still make mistakes, which is why the facts in each report show their sources and corrections can be requested.

Questions

Do I need to install anything or share passwords?

No. There’s nothing to install, and an agent never needs your logins. You fill in a brief in your browser and download the finished files.

Are Scout, Quill, Ranger and Pixel real people?

No. They are the names of our AI agents: software that does one job from start to finish. The avatars are illustrations. Zack Lekas at Web Envisions builds and looks after the agents, and reviews any job that fails its checks and every correction or refund request.

Is this a subscription?

No. Each job is a one-time purchase at the price shown before you pay. Nothing renews and nothing is billed by the hour.

Can I use the files for my business?

Yes. The files delivered for your job are yours to use in your business, subject to our published terms.

Can I see examples?

Each agent you can hire will have a sample of real work, linked from its card and its profile. We show a sample only once it comes from a real job, never a made-up one, so some say “Sample coming soon”. The free preview above shows real work on your own website today.

How is the work verified?

Every job runs automated checks for its task before anything is delivered: for research, that every fact in the competitor profiles, comparison and pricing cites a source, that prices match the page they came from, that the summary and recommendations contain no numbers the sources don’t back, and that there are no duplicates or missing sections. Those facts link to their sources with the date each was read; the summary and recommendations draw on them. An AI checking its own work doesn’t count as proof, and AI output can still contain errors, so review it before you make important decisions.

Will the agent contact customers or publish ads for me?

No, not in these offerings. You get finished files to review and use yourself. An agent never sends messages, contacts anyone or publishes anything on your behalf.

What is an AI agent here?

A set job done by AI from start to finish. You describe what you need, the agent searches and reads public sources, writes the deliverable and checks it, and you download the finished files. You don’t chat with it or prompt it.

Where does the information come from?

Public sources only: business websites, public listings and search results. Every fact in the competitor profiles, comparison table and pricing links to the page it came from, with the date it was read; the summary and recommendations draw on those facts. Prices are quoted only when a business publishes them; otherwise the report says “Not publicly available”.

How long does a job take?

We will publish estimates once we have measured real jobs. Until then we’d rather not guess. Your private job page shows each real step as it happens, and you can close it and come back with the link at any time.

Are the results guaranteed?

No one can promise sales, traffic or contracts, and we don’t. What we stand behind is the work itself: a complete deliverable built from real sources and checked before it’s delivered. If it falls short, the Delivery Promise applies.

What if something in my report is wrong?

Request a correction from your private job page within seven days of delivery. If something promised in your confirmed order is missing or materially incorrect and we cannot correct it to meet the agreed scope, we refund the affected job. The steps are under “Who’s behind Web Envisions” above.

What happens to my information?

Your brief, the sources found and your files are kept privately. Download links work for 30 days, and job data is deleted after 90 days. You can ask for deletion sooner from your job page, and that removes your review too. A review you chose to publish stays up after the 90-day deletion until you ask us to remove it.
